Where Richard Pentecost and Jason Domitrovic met for the first time and their dreams collided.

I was running the first ever State of Hawaii Tryouts for State Wars Hockey back in 2005 on the rink in Mililani and I remember meeting this man with an accent named Richard Pentecost.  He was intense and filled with passion for the players of Hawaii.  He had two boys that played and you could see that he wanted all the kids to have the best opportunities to play inline hockey.

Richard did not grow up playing inline hockey but rather soccer which was his passion.  What makes Richard so special is that he wanted to help make other peoples passions come alive.  This is his true heart.

I have learned that when you follow your true heart for people, the dreams that you didn't dare dream because you thought they were just too big to ever happen, do come true.

When I look at the picture of the Mililani Town Rink I can only think about all the people who's dreams came together to make it happen, and now it's great to see how those dreams turned into something bigger than they ever imagined possible.
